Jim DouglasPollina’s announcement yesterday shows that a three-way race for Governor is almost certain. With a three-way race Douglas is almost assure a win. The only issue is if Douglas fails to get a majority of votes, Vermont’s Democratic Legislature will decide. But for the week, it was a win for Douglas |
Anthony PollinaDespite a decent crowd and good media coverage for his press conference this week, his team made most believe, he would give Symington a clean shot at Douglas by going down to the LG race. After a solid start, Pollina is looking like a Pollina campaign. |
Brian DubieDubie has been able to keep all the big names out of his race. He may have hoped to ensure a three-way. But Pollina’s entrance into the Lt. Gov race would have likely given him a clean shot at Dubie. |

Losers-Vt political Pundits.
The real Losers this week are all the political pundits who keep telling us that Pollina should run for Lt Governor. Pollina has experience working with Vermonters on a variety of issues and since he is not an "insider" he has the courage to move Vermont forward and away from the partisan bickering in Montpelier. You can not fix problems using the same methods that created them or using band-aid or patchwork measures. Vermont needs a real change, and that change is Anthony Pollina.
