Kristina Althoff and Tayt Brooks

Both the Democratic and Republican parties named new executive directors this week. Both are seasoned campaigners that should do well in their new roles.

Rob Roper

With the addition of Tayt to the staff, Roper will be pressured to give him more communications responsibilities. Roper sees himself as a communications professional, yet has failed on delivering on the Republican message. At the same time, he has failed to get the candidates lined up to challenge as a major party should. Tayt Brooks brings a solid background in to replace Alden Guptill. Roper should help on fundraising and allow Tayt to be a real ED and fill the communications roll.
