Winners

Losers

Anthony Pollina

His release of raising 100k in the Month of January is an awesome feat and desires to be a winner of the week. This number, if valid, shows that discontentment runs deep in Vermont. And usually thrifty, yankee donors are stepping up to the plate to make a change in Montpelier to make the changes they want in Washington.

Peter Welch

He is smart and calculating. He has been around the political game for decades. So why would he decide to endorse a presidential candidate the same day as the Senior Senator from Vermont Patrick Leahy?

Peter Galbraith

The Ambassador may have many bad weeks ahead, but he made political buzz with his soft opening to Democratic insiders and his bio piece in the Free Press. The question is if he can build on a good “intro” and start to vacuum up donors? But for week one he deserves a win.

Ian Carleton

It looks like he got someone to step up to the challenge. Douglas while still popular might just be facing a political environment that just won’t allow a Republican to continue to govern Vermont. Pollina’s numbers gave Carleton extra ammo to drive potential contenders forward.
