Leahy to speak at Denver convention

The Democratic National Campaign Committee announced today that U.S. Sen. Pat Leahy (D-Middlesex) will be speaking at the Democratic convention.

The senior senator will speak on Tuesday, when the theme will be "Renewing America’s Promise." Later that night, U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) will be the prime-time speaker and Virginia Gov. Mark Warne (D) will give the keynote address.
