Tonight, Kunin rolls out book to party faithful – and other fundraising news

Former Governor Madeleine Kunin will be the featured guess for a Democratic Party fundraiser this evening. She will be read excerpts from her new book, Pearls, Politics and Power. The event should raise a good crowd and some good funds. We will be watching to see how it goes. Attendance should be strong.

In other fundraising news, Leahy’s new man Barrack Obama is reporting that his campaign has raised $32 million in January. This is the largest amount ever raised in one month. No word from the Clinton camp yet. Obama is clearly winning in Vermont fundraising. He has raised 6 times what either Clinton, McCain or Romney have raised in the Green Mountain state.
