Douglas continues to hammer Symington on financial disclosure

The re-election campaign of Gov. Jim Douglas (R-Middlebury) Friday criticized his Democratic challenger and House Speaker Gaye Symington (D-Jericho) for releasing "pro-forma" tax forms when she issued her campaign finance filings.

Symington voluntarily released her personal financial information last Thursday, however she issued a "pro-forma" report, which means the information contained only the candidate's assets, on simulated federal documents. Using the "Internets" - specifically, Google - we've found the following about Mr. Lacy's financial interests.  We offer them here in no particular order.

Gov. Jim Douglas' re-election campaign demanded Monday that his Democratic gubernatorial challenger, House Speaker Gaye Symington, release her husband's personal financial information to the public.

Symington, a Jericho resident, released her personal financial information last Thursday afternoon with her campaign finance report, but did not include information for her husband Chuck Lacy, a former chief operating officer for Ben and Jerry's.
