Progressives eye legislative races

With the current legislative session set to wrap up business in May, the Progressive Party is beginning to gear up for the fall’s legislative races.

Party executive director Morgan Daybell says that Progressives are eyeing about 24 legislative seats. In 2006 they participated in 18 races.

Progressives are excited about Molly Burke, who is running for the Brattleboro House seat that Darryl Pillsbury is vacating.

Daybell says he expects the Party to release a more detailed list of races that it is targeting in the next several weeks.
