Outspent, Clinton forces stay upbeat

With Vermonters heading to the polls in 48 hours, the Clinton campaign says it is remaining upbeat despite being vastly outspent by Democrat Barack Obama in the state.

“We have a very aggressive grassroots campaign on the ground,” said Clinton spokeswoman Carly Lindauer. The campaign has planned a number of phone banks and visibilities Sunday and will release details on its Monday and Tuesday efforts soon.

Lindauer also acknowledged reports that the campaign being outspent.

“Yeah, I definitely think that’s a reality we face,” she said.
