Lawmakers fail to override Douglas' campaign-finance bill veto

In a close party-line vote earlier today, the Vermont House of Representatives failed to override Gov. Jim Douglas' veto of campaign-finance reform legislation.

As the Burlington Free Press reported, the attempt to override the governor's veto failed by one vote.
