DeWolfe: 'few' complaints at polls

Voting in the state is going smoothly at this hour, the Vermont Secretary of State's office says.

Vermont Elections and Campaign Finance Director Kathy DeWolfe says she has received “very few calls” of complaints from voters so far today.

Lines have been manageable, likely in part owing to the heavy absentee voting that has already taken place, De Wolfe said.

Voting is scheduled to end at 7 PM. Any one in line at that time will be allowed to cast a ballot.

De Wolfe said she expected radio and television stations to begin airing results at around 8 – 8:30 PM.
